If we stare at the sun too long it burns an image onto our retina and everywhere we look for a long time after, we can see a black spot the shape of the sun.

We have all stared at our earthly fathers and mothers and an image has been burned onto our souls. That image comes with us into adulthood and it superimposes itself over every father, mother and authority figure in our lives. How do we fix that image?
