Hal was born in 1950, the middle child of three boys, in Boonville, MO.  He attended the University of Missouri, 1968-72, obtaining a Bachelor degree in American History.   He was heavily involved in the hippie drug-culture during those years.  While still on the campus, he accepted Christ, March 1972.

Hal married Diane Doherty, 3-3-73 and they now have five adult children and twelve grandchildren.  

He entered the ministry on 7-7-77 and was lead pastor for 23 years to three churches in the Kansas City area until 2001.   He then realized his primary calling was as an Evangelist and served as director of evangelism at the Int’l House of Prayer (IHOPKC) with Mike Bickle until 2018.   

Hal and his wife moved to Raleigh, NC in April 2018 and launched the Int’l Evangelists’ Fellowship (IEF) in December 2018.  www.iEfellowship.org
